SIG - Single Ply Systems
- Consists of an impervious membrane formed by laying and joining strong, flexible sheets to create a continuous waterproof barrier across the flat surface of the roof.
- Sheets are joined using either heat or are self-sealing and are retained by mechanical fixings, adhesives, ballast, green roofs or paving.
- Membranes are made from synthetic polymers that have been formulated to resist weathering, chemical oxidisation and UV Radiation.
